Underway

Bold brushstrokes give life to the colors in the canvas – creating a sense of anticipation with each frenetic line.   Closer inspection reveals a boat heading right towards the viewer, filled with promise and adventure as its sails flutter in the wind.   The movement is captivating, enthralling and daring you to join on this journey.  The inspiration for this work is a photograph I took in North Carolina.
